<<With primary hard disks being so cheap these days, I believe the largest market for removable media will be the mobile market (notebooks, PDAs, digital cameras, smart telephones, etc). IOM seems well poised to maintain its leadership in this arena.>>

You know that and I know that, however, no sense explaining it to cRock. Besides, if not after the first media then maybe the second, how many more will "Joe sixpack" (cRock's term) will they need? Escpially, like you mentioned, the size of the current hard drives.

It is too late for ORB and Sparq. These guy's are still working on a drive to beat the Zip or steal market share away from IOM, while IOM is going on to new untapped markets. Just look at how all these small gadets, PDA's and what have you get more sophisticated and appeal to a wider range of people, other than professionals. A small disk drive is what's been missing all along, just like Zip was prior to it's introduction.

If, and only if, IOM rolls out this product in a smooth manner than it will be a hit. Maybe the silver lining in all the Jaz2 delay's is that it will provide a good learning experience when it come time to roll out Clik! In addition, the current interm CEO's background and the latest appointment of the COO and the license with Citizen are all positive signs that will begain to show their effects in the second half of this year.

As much as I liked KE, yesterday's article regarding his resignation made alot of sense.
