Dulane: <OT>

You state:
> Y2K and how to make some money in spite of it. Do you have any stocks that you like?

I know you did not ask me, but if I may do a suggestion! You may want to check out SPNSF. They are perhaps the only Y2k players who have not had a run up yet and also are going to be around after January 1, 2000!

Just my humble opinion.

Dulane,
I have made no real effort to relate the Y2K problem to a specific investment investment strategy. I just keep it in my head as a real market factor like interest rates, or unemployment. Would not like to invest in a large bank with out knowing they are Y2K compliant.

I am hoping that DEC is seeing a lot of Y2K service work, and main frame replacement. Like some one said earlier, this may not have a great impact on PC sales. If that is correct, cpq may be making a great Y2K play for us with Tandem, and DEC.

Maybe I will try wacking the side of the PC. I think it's software related. I did some updates using Oil Change and may have messed some thing up. Maybe I'll find it tonight.
