Kennie - Re: " Check out your own post regarding to the
300k per month of K6. The original number from Prudential Security is clearing a misprint."

Glad you brought that up!

That quote came from Prudential's Hans Mosesmann. It seemed a little off the wall so I contacted one of my sources at Prudential and had him verify the statement.

My friend called Mosesmann's office and spoke with his assistant (sorry but I didn't write down his name). He specifically asked if Mosesmann meant 300,000 K6's per month or 300,000 quarter micron K6's per month. The answer was 300,000 TOTAL K6's per month.

The accuracy of that number is debatable since it came from Prudential and not AMD. However, Hans Mosesmann, the Prudential analyst, is a FORMER AMD EMPLOYEE - so there may be a grain of truth to the story.

Re: "Since you insist AMD had shipped only 900k unit or 40% drop from
previous quarter, perhaps we should wager a little on this."

I am not insisting anything. If you had any power of reasoning, you would know that I simply "reasoned" this number from Prudential's report, furnished to us by albert.

Be that as it may, we have only 4 more days until Jerry tells us the "Sanderized" Version Of The Truth!

Whatever number, I'm sure the story will be that "yields are improving rapidly and profits are just around the corner"!
