What an outstanding coda that would provide to this brutal bear market in the bullion. We shall see before long what the Eurocrats have in mind. One question in relation to this. Can they really afford to make the Euro that strong? Such a strategy would imply an economy with growth more closely tied to investment, rather than keeping European currencies and interest rates competitively undervalued in relation to the US, an economy that is more friendly to capital than what is now the norm. And can current European social and labor policies co-exist with such an approach? Any thoughts?
