Caxton.I have asked before about the patent trial in Texas this
year between Ericsson and QCOM.Does you or anyone else knows what it's all about.Who is suing and what patents are at stake?
If for example Ericsson wins does that mean that they can stop
QCOM from selling CDMA equipment and the other way around. What
is the maximum price a company can take for a patent that it's not
possible to avoid.Interesting to know when it comes to other
CDMA standards for example W-CDMA.If QCOM wins in courts
can they stop all other CDMA-standards if they want to and if it's not
possible to go around it or are they forced to licens it out without
taking more in licensingmoney than what is reasonable.Could be really shaky for Ericsson if QCOM has some patents and says that don't want to licens them out/R
