<<I'm probably going to buy some put's Mon. and May 70's are looking attractive. Have the weekend to do a little soul searching......>>

Sounds like a good idea. I've been keeping an eye on ALA, too. I wouldn't mind a "mild" 10 - 15% pullback to catch some air. I'm not so convinced the SE Asia/Japan thing is a no-show, as many seem to want to believe. (Sprinkle in a little El' Nino, Year 2000, "new era - new rules" talk, et al ...). Maybe you and I are the only ones, qdog, wondering what's going on? No, but many seem to be giddy with the thought of their paper profits and they don't want to spoil the rush with, as you say, a little "soul searching".

Have a nice weekend. ...Tim

Looks as if MOT is about to get some of its own medicine.

* The Alcatel NV unit of ALCATEL ALSTHOM and Alcatel CIT sued
MOTOROLA INC for alleged infringement of three Alcatel patents
related to mobile radio systems. In papers filed Tuesday in the
U.S. District Court in Delaware and made available to Reuters
Thursday, the Alacatel plaintiffs claim that Motorola's "Dimetra"
system, including its base transceiver stations and mobile
cellular units, is an example of a Motorola digital communications
system which allegedly infringes the patents. According to court
papers, Alcatel seeks a court order declaring its patents valid;
an injunction barring Motorola from further alleged infringement;
and unspecified damages. (Reuters 08:41 PM ET 04/02/98) For the
