The Temple of Risk is in the Shrine of every stock you buy.

Look at those that bought NSCP and Held on from 160 to 19 or OCCF from 80 to 8 after 2 splits in 6 weeks back in 1996.

You must qualify what you say. Remember, QGLY was a BB stock, that went to 55 and Split.

There are Real DIAMONDS in the ROUGH, that just need someone like JIMMY CHIN, to dust them off and polish them up to reveal the true beauty and value of the Diamond.

Andrew -- Your first post - April 2 -- 1808- I am a dgiv shareholder and just curious. I didn't buy as many shares as I wish though. I just bought a small stake before doing my DD, and the stock skyrocketed.

That says it all - you want to get more shares at a lower price... :-)

April 2 - 2151 - you stated: "I bought NASI at 3 and sold it at 8. I am still watching it, but no money on the table. I am not going to repeat the same mistake twice. I think DGIV has as much potential as NASI

That says it all as well -- you didn't recognize that NASI had more potential than "8" -- it continued on to 35 & then you missed the boat. No offense - but had you conducted a more in-depth analysis - you might have recognized that.

Re: FTEL going from 10 to 3 - (by the way - I sold a large chunk at 6-7, some more in the 5's & remainder at 4.5 with PP of 2.5-3.5 FTEL had no revenues or earnings to support it - just the excitement of a co-location agreement and upcoming telephony trade shows where people would see the Tempest product for the first time. Thus - it went to 10 Then it started dying. Why? Still no evidence of earnings or revenues, inside selling, poor marketing, no press releases, key person leaving the company -- these were all things that a person could easily analyze. This stock does have earnings - to the tune of 20-$30 million more in revenues (approximately) than FTEL & much more profit. This company does not have insider selling - in fact - has had repurchases of stock.
This company has a history of announcing new business or contracts or other good things at least once a month. This company has a gateway that is highly scalable to 1296 ports vs. FTEL's 24. This company is booking overseas business whereas FTEL is not at this point. etc. etc. etc.
I could go on - but you get the picture.

In post 2395 on April 3 -- you said "I took my principal and a little bit of profit out. I leave some profit behind. If DGIV performs well in the future, I will enjoy the fruit. If not, my principal is safe."

Ooops - you got faked out by the market-makers in the whipsaw dip on the 3rd & now want to get back in.

I don't fault you for that - but guess what? You just pulled a NASI! :-)
Not quite as badly though - since at least you have some left...
I've done my research & am willing to take the risk of keeping my initial investment - as based on a current PE of 20 - and future growth rate & many other things I have analyzed (which would take 50 more paragraphs) - this stock has nowhere to go but up.

I would normally do what you are suggesting - as I am also a conservative investor - but
when you spend as much time analyzing a company as I have done - and see what will be happening - I am very comfortable keeping every single one of my shares. Thus - conservative since I have conducted my analysis - but aggressive because I have the foresight to see what is coming.

This does not mean that FTEL won't have huge revenues much much later due to their co-lo network being -
set up - but investors want deals NOW & want to see revenues and earnings NOW. I gradually transition out of FTEL & into DGIV (& still made my bucks in FTEL from it's 2ish days about a year ago) Current PE of DGIV based on `98 earnings is 20. I feel comfortable with that. Not only that - this company seems to be the only profitable one in the VoIP biz at the moment - with those profits expected to go through the roof.
