Hi George... Thanks for the info...yes there are several good sized outcroppings of kimberlite in the Crystal Falls area, other than a few indicator minerals, I believe that it has been determined to be pretty much worthless other than a geologists' playground. Peter, thanks also for the informative post, sounds like you may have some geology background?? Your statement re "on the verge" are you wishful thinking like the rest of us? or do you know something that you could share or have you already? Agreed, I would rather have a dyke or two with good diamond content than two or three pipes that come up barren. Skelly, I believe that Wsp would use Abers new facilities rather than doing anything with DeBeers, proximity and politics. Although if Wsp does come with diamonds, it does add to the diamond viability of that whole area, also the Munn Lake potential that Suf is drilling on...regards...chuck

Hi George,

As always, thanks for your input and sharing your info from WSP.

I received some info from WSP on Thursday, that I thought would add to our "knowledge base". Here goes...

1. The drilling to date has not revealed any pipes. There was at least one geophysical anomaly in the lake which had potential, but nothing was found.

2. WSP is getting a better grasp of the kimberlite structure. There is further and further evidence that there is a deep seated kimberlite body at Snap. Because of the coal found in the boulders on the south shore and the formation of 186... it indicates kimberlite that has broken through and that there has been a blow(s).

3. The fly rig drill (can be taken apart and moved by helicopter)now on the lake has the same depth penetration as the skid mounted drill. Therefore they should be able to punch a few more holes into Snap to try and locate this "deep seated" kimberlite body.

4. Dr. P. says that the Camsell Lake area will rewrite the books on kimberlites. He's probably right.

5. R.T. says that there is a tremendous amount of kimberlite (in the form of dykes and breccia... which we've already heard some estimates) with very high diamond counts. Regardless of a pipe being found, we are on our way of defining a highly economic resource. When the results from the 200 tonne sample are announced (samples taken 250 meters apart), we should be able to crunch the numbers and get a good idea of the value. Although I think we could probably make some good assumptions now. Reading between the lines... IMO, we may have a resource thats even bigger than 2 or 3 normal NWT pipes. And it's not under water!

Now with gold on the rise, I would suspect the public and some fund managers might be looking at the juniors again. Not doing anything yet.. but just looking. Actually some street rumors say that some of the funds are taking large positions in the seniors now, such as Newmont.

When gold breaks through 320, this in itself will help all the juniors, gold and otherwise. My broker who is also a tech chartist, says that gold should hit 330-340 in the next month, drop again, and then move above $400. We'll see if he's right.

There is an excitement in the air. Let's hope it continues.

Go Gold! Go WSP!

Cheers,

Chris A.

And I wonder what they've found over the weekend? My thoughts are
with RT. He's been seeking the diamonds at the end of the rainbow
for a lot longer than most people realize. Now he's got a property
where you can find not indicator minerals (all Fipke had was
indicator minerals) but diamonds: diamonds in the till, in
lumps of kimberlite, in dykes--but no pipe. No wonder Dr. P.
says that diamond exploration will be rewritten at Snap Lake.
I've got my fingers crossed that all the clues will finally
lead to the mother load.
