Andrew and other VD residents: REDHERRING magazine has a major feature article on Biotech in its May 1998 issue. I checked their web-site and it appears they just added the April issue to the site, so unless you can get a hard copy, it looks like you will have to wait till May if you want to read it on the net. The feature seem mainly focused on genomics and bioinformatics. Nevertheless, I think many of you will want to see it, especially the piece on merger trends. Careful, Andrew, skiers love snow. I do hope you plants make it. Here in the East we're having the warmest spring ever--at least 3 weeks ahead with most flowering trees in full bloom. Regards, Walter

I noticed that the thread picked up MLNM and DURA. Being asthmatic, I think that Dura's new powder, Albuterol inhaler could be quite a winner, but I am really looking forward to their Beclomethasone inhaler, which should be a considerably larger market. So, you're out of biotech? Are you planning on getting back in sometime? Regards, Bob
