My wife an MD who does not know much about this stuff says, "from all the stuff I hear on TV, the US economy is fine, there is no inflation, interest rates are low and going down I think the market goes higher".

Pancho, she has 99% of the investing world on her side which, of course, is why we have a mania. I hope you have convinced her to move her retirement money into bonds.
