TA first, up 75% since middle of January. End of January it gaped thru its alltime high (9 5/16)(at least going back to 12-1-87)never filled and never looked back.Since march its been trading sidways (12 1/8 - 13 9/16 ) with a very slight upwards trend. During the recent consolidation or rest period volume has decreased. Its using the middle band of the bollingers for support and the bands are getting tighter. Basicaly as I see it were in a rest period how long the sideways movement will continue and witch way shes going to go is not known but IMO its next major move should be up. Not real conclusive but it has just compleated a big move.

KANATA, ONTARIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 3, 1998--(TSE:MLT.) (NYSE:MLT)
Mitel Demonstrates Products and Partnership Initiatives.
Mitel Corporation, a leader in voice communications technologies, will showcase its MediaPath(TM) Server, XpressConnect(R) solutions, and CTI-ready PBX portfolio at CT Expo '98. MediaPath Server and MediaPath for BackOffice Small Business Server enable end-users and third-party developers to integrate PBX functionality with other voice and data based business applications on a single SBS or NT server. MediaPath will be demonstrated with a sampling of value-added applications from leading developers, including Optus Software (booth No. 1442), PIKA Technologies (booth No. 751) and Ryan Technologies (booth No. 551). MediaPath for SBS will also be demonstrated at Microsoft (booth No. 1911) and at Ingram Micro (booth No. 1558). Ingram Micro will also demonstrate XpressConnect, an ISDN-based remote access solution that brings the functionality of a corporation's PBX to off-premise workers. CT Expo will be held from March 3-5, 1998, at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California.
MediaPath -- An Open Communications Platform
MediaPath Server is one of the first pre-configured computer telephony solutions available through mainstream distribution. Designed specifically for the needs of small business and workgroups of up to 96 users, MediaPath Server integrates computer and telecommunications features on one convenient, affordable and reliable platform.
MediaPath for BackOffice Small Business Server provides organizations with 25 or fewer PCs traditional telephony functionality optimized for small businesses.
Both solutions help users organize, process and manage the constant flow of telephone and computer communications effectively and efficiently. Examples of third-party applications include voice mail, unified messaging, informal call centers, web-based telephony integration, and video conferencing.
XpressConnect
Gandalf, Mitel's new remote access division, will demonstrate XpressConnect, an off-premise link extender which allows a PBX line to be extended to a remote location via ISDN. With XpressConnect PBX extension technology, access to the corporate LAN and the corporate PBX can be delivered through the same access device. This fully integrated and transparent voice and data architecture, XpressAnywhere, provides a unique difference in remote access.
Application Development
Through Mitel's Global Developer's Network, Mitel has formed strategic alliances to create the custom applications that will allow MediaPath Server to deliver its full potential.
Following are the application developers working with MediaPath Server's open, standards-based environment (Windows Open System Architecture APIs, NT, and BackOffice) to create communications solutions for a variety of business needs.
Optus Software, Inc. demonstrates FACSys for MediaPath. FACSys enables the integration of email, voicemail, groupware, imaging and database resources into powerful business solutions that boost productivity and produce maximum value from corporate information assets.
Ryan Technologies' products enable small offices to integrate a flexible combination of features such as voice communication, the network and computer telephony.
PIKA's AllOnBoard architecture allows a single module to simultaneously support voice, fax, caller ID, conferencing, speech recognition and text to speech. Providing all these features on a single card is beneficial to the wide variety of applications available on MediaPath.
Tanager's TraxSuite for Mitel's MediaPath makes it easier for a customer service department, customer help desk, support center or call center employee to be more productive. This application allows users to provide the best service to customers with features such as auto attendant, voice menus, automatic call dispatch, integrated email, voice mail, web and Lotus Notes interfaces, and management reports.
CTI-Ready PBX Portfolio
At Ingram Micro's booth, Mitel's CTI-ready PBX products will be demonstrated with Ingram Micro's data products. Mitel's PBX products complement Ingram Micro's data products offering by providing value-added resellers additional voice and telephony integration products. With the continued convergence of the voice and data markets, this alliance provides Ingram Micro's computing and telecom VARs access to Mitel's CTI-ready PBX product portfolio.
