Thanks Charles for taking the time to respond to my questions. I like the idea of new blood looking at us. If there was a buy out by WorldCom I would venture to make a wild guess like: WorldCom offers to buy FTEL/FNET. WorldCom will give 1 or 1.5 shares for every 3 shares of FTEL/FNET. At present prices that would make FTEL shares worth about $14.

$4(FTEL-present price) x 3shares = $12
$44(WCOM-present price) x 1share = $44
----------------------------------------

A factory of 3.66

Multiply that times present price of $4 = $14 and some change!!

Sorry folks, I just like to play with numbers!

Wishful thinking. Go FTEL!

I used to work for Rockwell International when they got bought out by Boeing. It was a stock offer and not a cash offer because of tax reasons.
