Hello David,

It is anything but quiet around here. I have gotten several questions regarding this post of 500 new hires. To this point, the information is just not accurate. Yes, TAVA is aggressively hiring. But there is no way I can confirm the 500 number. I also think it is a stretch to use the extrapolation used in the post regarding billing. Rates are negotiated, the post assumes a perfectly efficient work week. The post is just not true.

There is also no truth to a secondary. The company is not in any discussions ...

Thanks for your support and I hope this clears it up.

Scott, if this is true, this new hire binge has astonishing implications for revenue projections and the obvious remediation work that is expected, or has already been contracted for.

Can you confirm these numbers?

I'm hoping that the poster got it right, but it seems too good to be true ... Thanks for your help on this one.
...
Could you also please confirm Jan McCabe's post on SI that TAVA is NOT planning a secondary. She said she talked with you on the phone about it ... Is there anything substantive you can add to the discussion or perhaps you could just confirm (for due diligence's sake) what you said to Jan.

Hope all is well with you and yours.

David

THE YEAR 2000

For manufacturers, resolving Year 2000 date problems on the plant floor computers can be an opportunity it they
use it as such. Although most companies have begun work on their corporate and financial business systems,
many manufacturers have yet to deal with the risk to the hundreds of controls systems and embedded devices
which operate their plant floors and which generate their revenues.

The only reliable solution for the 600,000 plant floors in the U.S. is a methodical application of skill and
experience to every system and device that controls their production operations. This is exactly the kind of
superior project expertise and experience TAVA brings to the Year 2000 issue.

TAVA offers manufacturers two choices to solve their Year 2000 date problems. TAVA has developed Plant
Y2kOne, a full service suite of resources on a CD-ROM that covers the entire project from impact assessment
to compliance, remediation and testing.

With a combined total experience of more than $250,000,000 in successfully executed projects, TAVA
Technologies has the expertise to help industrial companies integrate their processes, applications, hardware and
software into seamless manufacturing enterprises. The results for our customers are improved competitive
advantages through production superiority - increased yields, reduced production costs, and accelerated
responsiveness to customer needs and market demands.
