Further On About Cost Efficiencies of E-Commerce...

Our new PC client just told me over breakfast that
the cost of his order processing over the Web is fully
1/10th that of what it would cost to run a call center
with inbound phone orders. Intuitively, I knew there
were savings, but I did not know they were of this
magnitude.

BTW, from the Intershop thread, it appears this
rather interesting company is going public in Germany
first... its country of origin. Been reading up on
these guys: big-league alliances, solid product, etc.

As for BVSN suggestion, I think that would be an
interesting play. But, I'm still pondering. As for
EGGS, let me just go it alone for a while as sort of
a forward observer. If anything interesting breaks--
sorry for the pun, well, not that sorry--I'll scramble
here with a serving of fresh news. My position is
relatively small... and bought by WAVOs rancheros.

As a SEEK stalwart, even I will be looking at profit-taking
sometime toward the end of next week. And that might be
missing some of the final fun before earnings get reported.
That's okay, though, I never mind missing a little peace
of the fun, just so long as I'm clear of any un-fun after
the run. Right now, with rumors and such, this stock should be
sold with its own spiritual advisor to help you plan your
moves. (However, its recent doldrums and drifts punctuated by sudden
inexplicable bursts will probably prove tame in comparison
to my new BIOTECHNOLOGY!? friends.)

But, Yahoo! is going to beat or at least meet
the whispers, so SEEK and other engines of our capital
should do rather well... regardless.

Best Regards,
