Hi John.... Well, perhaps we don't understand his strategy because it hasn't been clearly elucidated. It seems to me that Mr. Buchanan has decided upon Mr. Hren to replace him, and this has been known for some time. On the other hand, his acceptance of a 50,000 share option for a full ten year period sends a decidedly mixed message. Maybe he hasn't really decided. I can understand that, I suppose, but then it requires some sort of public commentary. Unfortunately, his ebbing and flowing on a variety of subjects (of particular irritation to me was the departure of Mr. Sedlak following that gentleman's address of the annual meeting for 20 minutes, without so much as a public announcement, and, the obvious disappointment in LCiD orders for 1998, given his public announcement at the last shareholder meeting that this product (on its own) would increase sales by 35% in 1998), certainly doesn't leave one with a sense that he is leveling with the shareholders. Obviously, I personally have made the judgement that he hasn't always been straight with us. Accordingly, I do not trust him. I don't like being promoted. And, I insist on full disclosure. Anything less is an insult to the shareholders, AND in my personal view, a "hanging offense." Maybe he will actually do something to be forthright at the 1998 annual meeting. Goodness knows, this company needs to be more forthcoming. Have a good weekend.
