Re: Due to less than desirable business conditions, I have heard that Intel is considering holding the meeting at the downtown San Jose Salvation Army post.

Please bring your own coffee and a folding chair - if you want to sit.

And there will be no food, other than PII chips. They have to do something w/ them, as they can't sell the damn things.

Vinod Dham, the former group vice president of computation products at Advanced Micro Devices Inc., (AMD), has been named CEO of Silicon Spice Inc., a semiconductor startup company focusing on telecommunications.

Dham, who had worked at Intel Corp. (INTC) until 1995, helped create AMD's K6 processor.

Silicon Spice is working on a new type of signal processing technology, officials said. The Mountain View, Calif., company also announced today it has received $7 million in a second round of financing.
