[OT:] FYI: I'm an avid AMD fan. I recommend and build with AMD whenever I can.
I've specified more AMD µControllers and 29LV series than you could imagine.

Why can't you accept the fact that I sold virtually all of my SIII at $17 ??
Ask your new friend Jonathan, he's got verification in an old e-mail from me.

Hmm, I thought "The Virtual Cartel" was finished messing with AMD's stock.

Nah, one more because I see the way you posted that out of context:

Had you bothered to read a little more of the conversation
you might have understood the use of AMD as an example:

Yes, but NPL isnt good enough, they must use GPL or people wont back it. Netscape should buy www.troll.no (for less than 10 million) and make that free, then Bill is soon gone. I think Apple might make Rhapsody sourceware. Then Bill is gone for sure.

I wouldn't say gone - AMD has made a fine CPU for years
yet few will buy anything that can't claim a Pentium processor.

Ones and Zeros may be fine for Gates and gates but continuity of context
is a necessity in conversation.

The conversation started from this:

Netscape source code and the Linux operating system could be the combination that unseats Windows, said Marc Andreessen, Netscape's CEO, Wednesday.

"Everywhere I go, I find myself sitting across a table from someone who uses Windows at work and Linux at home," Andreessen said. "With the huge amount of energy behind it, it's only a matter of time before it makes a huge impact."
