Rod,

So what's up with Java? You like Intel and Java from what I recall of your posts. It seems like Java is treading water. NCs aren't selling. I don't understand why embedded device programmers would use it considering the real-time nature of most of the devices in this area. Java on the server? Shoot, I don't know. Microsoft is making Java Windows specific. :-(

Is it's suitability to distributed computing models what is so great? What's the future of Java? Why do you like Intel AND Java? They don't need eachother. The future of the language doesn't seem as bright as it was awhile ago.

TIA for your thoughts,

Bob

[OT:] One (hopefully) last post to the spokesman:

>>>"He thinks cable modems will never make it"

Finish the sentence and the truth of the matter:
Cable modems will only be available in limited areas - they won't be ubiquitous.

>>>"having more than one phone line is very difficult to get."

Take a survey, you'll find this to be a painful fact in many areas of the country.

>>>"Again, he's down about 95% on the year"

I hope you're not one of my brokers or my CPA because, if so, someone's been lying.

It's bad enough you people have to continuously twist people's words to your delight,
now you claim to have knowledge of people's brokerage and bank accounts?
