The New Amercian Std.(NAS)70's translation , and the translations of scripture in the 90's use what we learned in dead sea scroll.
They do not translate from a translation.

Just for grinds....give me three wrong trnaslations in the King James????

Don't take this wrong...but, you sound like allot of christians who say evolution is full of errors but cannot name the errors scientifically<gggg> They just say it's wrong becasue it's wrong(some logic that is)

The reason you see allot of King James is the copyright has expired and there are free hypertext versions on net and just about everywhere.

Even history History PhD's recoginize the Torah as accurate.
History at it's original source will even confirm the Torah and the
new testament. (Josephus)

here's why the torah is kept accruate through the years.
1. you had to be trained and certified as a scribe.
this was soemthing you trained for decades to become and had super talent at or you didn't make it. It took a Bobby fisher kind of talent to be a scribe
2. if you made a mistake on a scroll that was released then that's it
you are out.(might be few exceptions). there are books of procedures that fill a huge library on scribing and what the rules were.
3. if you made a mistake on purpose, the penalty was death
4. the most compelling reason why the torah doesn't obtain error.
a scroll wasn't just words. it was words that appear in the same place
on every scroll. each letter had a number assigned to it .
so, they would assigned numbers to all letters in a section and then add those numbers up vertically and horizontally. each section had it's on set of check numbers for the sums of those letters(numbers).
one letter misplaced would throw the check digit off and tell them that a error was in that section. They then had a method to correct that number. If it was a temple copy then that's it..that scroll could not be used. there were rules that allowed some corrections but the use of that scroll was limited because one letter had been misplaced.

The defective parts per milion allowable in a scroll copy was zero.

I only accept the Hebrew and chaldean for the old testament and greek for the new testament. when in doubt I go back to the original
language.

so, name translation errors in the KJV?????
another question....why do you even bother. you don't beleive anyway.
You don't need a reason not to beleive in God..
and no one should put you down (especially christians ) for your beliefs.
You should be allowed to make your decision...I accept God and His plan or I don't accept it. You shouldn't be forced by anyone even christians.

I will say this. I'm positive...one day you will beleive that Christ is King of the Universe. that is a sure thing.

Okay, what was translated wrong in the KJV???????
