I am moved almost to speechlessness that you would take the time to help me with my dream interpretation. Almost, but not quite, I'm sure you're pleased to hear.
And to learn that you are a Jungian! This couldn't possibly be just coincidence! I, too have applied Jungian theory to my life with interesting results, particularly in the culinary area where Jung's alchemical thought processes have led to spectacular results. I frequently recite the famous axiom of Maria Prophetissa as I mix ingredients together. "One becomes two, two becomes three, and out of the third comes the one as the fourth. My hands grow cold as I type this--I know you understand.
As I read your post, I realized that we were experiencing what Jung called unus mundus, the ultimate unity of all existence. This could not have been exemplified better than by your interpretation of the anticipated date in the dream as the awaiting of the dryer buzzer.
For you see, I have no buzzer on my dryer! DO you realize what this means! It is absolute proof that synchronicity exists! Somehow, someway, I tapped into the collective unconscious, and comprehended the archetype of dryer buzzer, even though I have none!
jhild, I think we are involved in something bigger and more profound than we realize yet. Together we are embarking on a journey of exploration and revelation that has never before been attempted. Let us join hands and minds and set forth bravely, keeping in mind Jung's famous words:
Reason alone no longer suffices.
