To all, The following is fromm FEER(Far East Economic Review) at

Don't dawdle, the millennium approaches. While Western companies
have been busy prepping their computers, Asian companies have largely
ignored the potentially devastating problems posed by January 1, 2000.

With the major exception of Singapore, Asia is woefully behind the rest of
the world in preparing for the millennium, say information-technology
industry executives. The current regionwide economic crisis has only made
things worse. But there's still time to get ready.>

Is there really time to get ready? I for some reason have my doubts. If they don't make it how will it effect the rest of the world and gold prices? It could be very interesting observe. Also how will it affect the ECM's plans? There are a lot of interesting questions
here and unfotunately, I don't think we will have any answers till its over.

it like over 15%? Weak Euro?

France's Le Pen urges euro boycott
01:01 p.m Apr 04, 1998 Eastern
PARIS, April 4 (Reuters) - French far-rightist Jean-Marie Le Pen on
Saturday called for a boycott of the euro, saying the single European
currency would kill the franc.

''The euro will kill the franc...We therefore declare war on the euro,
we declare a boycott against the euro,'' Le Pen, a member of the
European Parliament, told reporters during a leadership meeting of his
anti-immigrant National Front.

Le Pen said the Front would urge French people to refuse to use
franc-euro conversion rates during the 1999-2001 transition period
before the European currency is fully launched.

''Be they shopkeepers, be they craftspeople, they must not become
accomplices to a crime against our country,'' he said.

He said the single currency would inevitably lead to a single European
budget and turn the president of France into a mere provincial governor.

Could someone tell me which area gives the best leverage in the early stages of a gold bull market?

I would have thought it was the junior golds but I've been hearing other suggestions recently.

I'm not looking for stock picks just an idea of the sector that would offer the best opportunity at this time.

Thanks in advance.
