Khris, <Not only is AMD trying to clone Pentiums>

You are exhibiting a common misunderstanding here.
No one is "cloning" Pentium. To remind you,
"cloning" means exact copy of all "cells". No one
wants to copy the obsolete and cludgy pentium
internals. Everyone are trying to design their
own, BETTER engines to run the existent CODE.
This is the name of the game - to run the
Microsoft x86 CODE better then Intel. Both Cyrix
and AMD have better engines to run the Microsoft
code to the extent that they cannot run their
engines faster than Pentium-II yet. But this may
change.

Hope this helps.

Khris - Re: "Not only is AMD trying to clone Pentiums, they are now also cloning"

Best joke of the week!

Too bad it's true!
