DeBeers is not dropping mpv.that 1s ridiculous.they very carefully searching for new pipes rather than drill in a random fashion they examine the indicator minerals then start to drill.this is a sensible way to save money if you study the past you will find that they had very little difficulty finding the hearne and tesla. they have an estimated value about 4/12 billion on pipes around the 5034 with further evaluatig probably enough to warrant a full fledged mine. this new area they are drilling promises to be of equal or better value than the lake kennedy findings.as for the value of the diamonds so far there have been indications there are many gem size findings . call mountain province and confirm this.i am surprised that you are spouting off negativism.just what do you gain by this.do you think you can make us sell the stock.or are you just trying to preach or call attention to yourself.just answer me why are you doing this?

Reply #688 - Just to clarify, most producing diamond mines contain 25% - 30% gem quality. Call Diamet & Aber and ask them what their gem quality is. I'm sure they will tell you 25% - 30%. Incidentally, remember Diamet will be in production around the third quarter of 1998 and Aber is preparing to go into production in the next couple of years. The 5034 has 25% gem quality with a per tonne value of US. $82.50 for 15MM tonnes. A total single asset of approx. US. 1.2B. Sampling of Tesla, Tuzo & Hearne will provide us with a glimpse of their value in the short term. I'm guessing around the end of May.
