Exactamente Marshall! I too have followed CR through profits of gloom and Roger's shorts. He is a bright guy. I read posts from shorts because of my experience in presstec and its very active thread. There are many bright people on that thread as well, and a small group of threatening, insulting, even dangerous types (ask Jason's mom, Count Gold, or Olu), predominantly shorts, who calculating spread misinformation and chaos. Another short, Paul, exposed the weaknesses of Prst with fact, demanding validation of long's claims, and meticulous dd. I was fortunate in not taking a more serious loss in prst because Paul's posts were credibly presented. CR and Patrick are intelligent guys. I don't have any problems with Patrick's posts to date. I feel like I am an expert on TAVA having read some 4000 or more posts, and the entire research site, over the past six months, and I can sort out what is speculative or a negative bias, from what is fiction. I am willing to concede some of Patrick's points because to do otherwise would foolishly ignore the real risks inherent in the TAVA story. CR may be a different story. He has been civil, upfront, and some of his comments (e.g. his not being short yet) might even be seen as complimentary to our own judgement as longs. Where we differ is when he is in a position, he enjoys the game, he likes the fact there are winners and losers, he likes to ruffle feathers (from memory here of his previous posts I think on the Roger's Short Board), in short I strongly suspect he likes the suffering of others and sees it as part of the thrill of conquest. I want the satisfaction, yes, even thrill, of seeing the team I am supporting win. But I derive no satisfaction from knowing that my win was someone else's loss, not even Patrick's or CR's. Present Patrick, CR, and other shorts with short factual couterarguments. We are one of the best research equipped sites on SI and within three weeks, we will have the best ammunition of all - earnings. I suggest we don't taunt, personalize, or become engrossed in side arguments. If threats are made (I am not expecting this from Patrick), take them to Jill. Clip the question from their post or paraphrase, and give a focused response. This kind of active dialogue can be very healthy for all of us. Patrick - hope I haven't offended. In addition to intelligence, you have a great deal of courage - I respect that. Frank
