If you can do it, I would suggest taking any stock that has gained 30 percent or more in the last month and selling enough to bring it back to the initial $1k investment. Then use the proceeds to purchase three stocks to fill out the portfolio and keep the original $17K investment. BVSN looks Ok and HRBC is a good solid company. As a speculative flyer, would you consider IIML as the last of the three to round out the portfolio and balance Benny's slower moving SE. Dave
