Mr. Macpherson: I doubt that "laptop" NCs have much future. The communications would seem difficult. Having said that, there are some great benefits to interpreted as opposed to compiled languages. JAVA strikes me as "another interpreted language", albeit somewhat more sophisticated than G. Washington basic, with one additional step in execution & some great speed enhancements. It has it's uses and may evolve to greatness, but it's not there yet, IMHO. tgptndr - MRs Project written in JAVA
