Culling the list...

I'd start by looking at the charts. Notice that DELL, which appeared in both of A Kiri's EPS lists, was stopped-out of the Mar06_98 portfolio. IMHO, the fact that it was extended in price would and did DQ it from actual purchase.

As Mr. O'Neil (sp.) points out in HOW TO MAKE MONEY IN STOCKS, one should try to buy ONLY as shares emerge from consolidation. I'll miss some terrific gains by adhering to this rule. My experience, there will be a better day, remain patient on those must-own names.

In short, the brevities of technical analysis map a most direct route from the suburbs of veracity toward uptown.
