Suma... I looked at SFSK last night and noticed how high it had run up. It is a favorite of mine and their corporate headquarters is about 4 miles from my house in Boca Raton, FL. It is my list as an earning play and I've played in 3 times in the past 4 seasons. It's had 4 earnings surprises in the last 4 seasons. An EPS of 97 and project EPS of 91. SFSK has a growth rate going forward of 24 % per year. Trades at a 11% Discount PE Multiple of 24.4 X, vs. the 27.3 X average multiple at which the Medical Products SubIndustry is priced. QTR QTR FY FY Mar 98 Jun 98 Dec 98 Dec 99 Year Ago EPS* 0.30A 0.32A 1.41A 1.77 Current vs. Year Ago Change 30% 34% 26% 31% Report Date wk/Apr 23 wk/Jul 30 wk/Feb 18 It is a wonderful bullish chart and the stock is a buy but not now. It is now residing in what they call OVERBOUGHT territory. Earnings come out in the middle of April (I'll call to confirm actual date).. After it pulls back it will be a buy again. When a strong stock experiences a pullback after a particularly good run it will usually be a buy on the very first upswing after that pullback. Follow this company, let it correct a bit then get in. If you are looking for 'mid-term' hold, same thing holds. I'm currently doing this with BGEN.. Waiting for it to finish correcting.
