I was kind of disappointed the stock popped only 5 cents on such good news. The news about the JV was released only to the LA area and appeared on Business wire and Yahoo and also Bloomberg. However the Dow News wire and Reuters did not carry the good news and therefore we did not get the national exposure and the $ 0.25 pop I was expecting . The Barbodos car looks pretty solid for an electric one. Joe I'm told calls it the one(1) ton truck (it has a pay load of 1 ton). choicemall.com. One of the common features of an electric car if you have seen one is the many different wires that zig zag all-around the car. However BAAT's electric car will have all of the electronics in one big black box .The electronics in the box will be standardized to be fitted to different type of vehicles. The battery is the most important component in a electric car. The news release states that lead-acid battery will be supplied from a manufacturer in Asia. Is this HBL Limited, in India that BAAT had.formed a joint venture with? If that is the case additional revenues could be expected. The land price in Burbank California has skyrocketed in recent times and the developers have been eyeing the CALSTART facilities lately.I guess it is time to demolish the warehouse building and put up a high rise building. It is a shame that only money talks these days. BAAT will be moving it's headquarters to San Diego soon. CALSTART building has many historical significance.
