Dear Kevin - some researchers say IP phone traffic will increase to 25% of calls in the next several years. But that probably includes calls put over IP networks of Bell monopolists, as well.

Level 3 and Qwest are betting on growth in the broadband market (voice, data, video, fax) -- broadband services may end up being priced as (relative) premium services.

The FCC/Baby Bell call for increased access fees (for IP voice) will affect companies more focused on IP voice, rather than overall broadband services. So it will have a greater affect on growth opportunities for the IDTs of the world and VocalTec, although VocalTec is expecting quite a bit of growth in the international markets.

Best,
Francis
