There are no assurances. One has to limit their exposure to high risk investments by limiting capital invested and/or diversifying into other fields. Of course, there will always be stories about someone who put it all on the line and wins big. We don't hear the stories of all the losers, because that would be repetitive and boring. How did you come to believe your friend's story enough to open your wallet? Does your friend have better information than what's available here and elsewhere on the web?
