Hey, for some good charting analysis, go check out
pages.prodigy.net

This awesome site has some really good strategies on the MACD
system for short term trading. It uses a bunch of moving averages to tell
you if a stock is about to go up or down, and when to sell.

You might want to check this site: equis.com
For short term trend I use crossover of two 8 days Regression Forecasts one of close, other of open. Good only with moving stocks though.
