gda,
This is pure speculation on my part. Is it possible that shorts are covering in advance of earnings? This may simply be caution from those who don't want to be short when earnings are announced. I have to admit that a 20% or so reduction in the number of shorts seems substantial enough to use as a point of discussion for this thread. What's your take?

Michael

Hi GDA,
The part that seems odd to me is the Average Daily Volume. This seems high to me. Usually that source of Short Interest has been very good, but it looks like an error. I'll check in BARRONS when they report and see if they have the same values.

Best regards, Tom
