Mark,

All of the WDM products should work with the LEAF fiber. The LEAF fiber is intended to minimize the intermodulation between the separate 10Gb/s signals. It is all of the old fiber that causes the biggest problem. I think that LU, CIEN, NT, Etc... are all working on Polarization Modal Distortion Compensation schemes that should allow more of the older fiber to be used. This however is no simple problem to solve.
