purething, it is always so hard for me to tell when you are joking!! Is this a real movie, one that I can rent at the video store? I would actually be very interested in seeing a movie about transsexuals.

All of my husband's Irish friends wonder how he got to be so open and tolerant, which is unfortunately not the first inclination for most Catholics from Northern Ireland. Well, when he landed here and fell in love with me, one of my very best friends was a male-to-female transsexual who was on hormones and in therapy, and dressing like a woman, but who had not yet had the surgery. The three of us used to go almost everywhere together, including weekends up the coast at Mendocino, and in fact she taught my husband how to drive, since I did not quite have the patience or the stomach for all that excitement. I would sit in the back seat and chew on my forearm so that I would not scream or anything!

By the time we had showed my husband the raucous way grown-up San Franciscans celebrate Halloween, and he had been hit on by numerous homosexual men because he was so cute, he was pretty experienced at staying flexible, and judging people not by their sexual identity, but who they were inside.
