This is exactly what a thread should be. I learned a lot from the exchange between Greg and pappy, and feel as though what we still need to know in order to understand what relation Novatec may possibly have to snrs has been clarified. Or at least one important question has been isolated: Is Novatec designed for the correction of hyperopia, and how would an ablative technique accomplish that?

Pappy, nysebob said words to the effect that he was sure no one doubted your altruism, but he's just being polite; of course we know I doubted it. But I don't now, I very much appreciate your contribution, and hope you'll contribute more.

Not long ago I put together a post for the purpose of introducing someone to snrs as a possible investment for a group of his.
