Ok. #2569.Conway Twitty ain't happening.Just stocks.
So here goes. This co. came as a 500,000 shs ipo at $2 and now there are 6.2 mil shs out there.Exactly to whom were they given and for what purpose? And when and at what price?
Next,Dharma is financing this co. with a $60 mil line of credit. But it isn't a standard loan where the lender looks for repayment of principle plus interest. They are also entitled to stock.Does your banker ask for an ownership interest when financing your business(or house or car)? No. So what is going on? Why did Dharma agree to loan that much money to a fledgling business whose current cash flow would not begin to justify it? Does Jimmy have to get K commitments in advance guarantying revenue sufficient repay each draw.If he can not then does the loan go away? Were the K commitments in place before Dharma ever extended the line of credit?
Is Dharma using its influence to help obtain Ks? After all, they are an owner. Or is Jimmy Chin from Santa Monica just flying around the world making cold calls on telephone companies.
In any event,I suspect that the ipo was mainly for the purpose of creating a public market place for the stock and not to raise seed money.
There you have it.Now as Jerry Jeff Walker might say,"Think about it, Darlin".

Dr. John.. I agree, MfDOH did a great job..

Also there were 2 magazines posted here if you want more layman's way to understand what this is all about.

Business Week April 6 issue has a 12 page article, part of it is on telephony ; and I also believe this week's/this month's(?) Scientific America was listed as an interesting source of info.

I think its worth the few bucks to understand what you are really getting into. Also MfDOH thanks for taking the time to type that all out...
