<please tell me if i got this right>
yes you do, your pc turns into a tv. The web access part for the wavetop
comes from a public broadcast station as part of the signal. Remember though its ine way to you only.
you can also watch TV a do other work on the pc at the same time.
I saw the demo today in the windows 98 broadcast in a movie theatre .
You can get the web content while you watch the tv show.

alot of tuner boards let you do more that just receive wavetop: you can watch tv and intercast data, some have video capture so you can jack your camcorder into your pc to create photos to print, email or save to a floppy to send to family & friends(the capture abilities + the camcorder + C-U-See-Me software could get you into video conferencing) and some have fm tuners so you can listen to your favorite radio station. If the buyers look at all the enhancements that some tuner boards have to offer, tuner boards are going to sell like crazy. Wavetop was the straw that broke the camel's back in my case. I couldn't quite justify buying one before, but when wavo came along i just had to have one!!!
