How much of the 7.96B is directly applicable to embedded chip remediation?

Who is getting the remaining $$$?

Dear Jim: Impressive figure, but to be fair, most of that is related to IS services not imbedded systems. And a lot will be done in house, a lot is related to testing afterward but, when its all said and done still there will be a huge amount related to outsourcing and I have read (dont know if its true or not) there are only about 40 firms in the y2k business. As to imbedded systems. Jenkins says, and I have no reason to disbelieve him that TAVA has no competition. Sure, lately we have seen some small firms CLAIM to be in on it but it will probably turn out they either license the TAVA tool or are capable of only the smallest installation. Tava only seems to want the really big companies and they seem to be getting what they want. JDN
