The majority of the Class B stock is owned by the 2 founders.
I think it was originally used for some sort of protection in earlier private placements. Placements sold equity, but founders retained control of the company. Intel owns over a million shares, some other private placements as well, Lots of good info in the prospectus available on Edgar. Class B shares automatically revert to class A shares if sold to other than a "qualified" person.
