CONTEST!!

1) Eenie, meenie, mynie, mo...(sp.?) -- NASDAQ! (Seems to me its got more "mo".)

2) NE - price will go up by 7-8%.

Actually, this is not my prediction, but that of Telescan's Macro-World Price Forecast. I want to test out my belief (prejudice?) that this "mathematical model" is pure BS.

(If it isn't, fellow-holders of ESV and TDW, we're going to make out BIG TIME. And holders of RDC, PDS, and especially VRC will WEEP!)

Chat Contest

My picks for the week are both long.

NE since it was mentioned on Wall Street Week should be good for a little pop...I hope.

BTJ (Bolt Technology) a small company that I trade regularly that makes air guns (seismic sources) for offshore seismic. Their earnings come out this week or next and should be very good. Also technically the the stock looks like it may try to breakout to the upside.

Regards,

Paul

Looks like Koch went techie.

<TA>Stochs are hanging around nicely in the overbought area still, the first time in 6 months it has done so. I'm thinking this is good. A few stocks (NBR, TDW) actually fell enough to come close to giving buy signals. I like the way things look for next week. And if I'm wrong?.... Well at least I own fundamentally sound companies.

Many charts look like they're hitting the lower BBands (which occurs much more quickly and with much less weakness in an uptrend as opposed to a flat or downward trend). The consolidation the two days after the big runup was positive IMO.

Signed: Never to be less than 80% invested again RG
