Both PCQUOTE and S&P Comstock is the same software.ÿ They are both Townsend Real Tick.ÿ They both have all the same features, include the Excel links.ÿ The difference is the data feed.ÿ PCQUOTE and S&P Comstock each are resellers of stock exchange data.ÿ Just as DBC, AT Financial, DTN, Dial Data, etc, etc.
ÿ
Day Traders and all investors need 3 components.
1.ÿ Data vendor
2.ÿ Charting vendor
3.ÿ Broker, to execute
ÿ

Block actually uses Cybertrader. I have been using cyber trader now for 6 weeks and have made a lot of money and have been incredibly happy. I stopped posting because I was accused of being a CyberCorp shill. Anyway their system on Frame Relay through WorldCom has been so powerful that I can not praise it enough. They now apparently have 40 Plus remote traders and are getting ready to add news server as well as Listed Stocks. The order execution system is the key to their product and is why I went with it. FWIW

As to plays my AIPN is ready to roll after the Arbitrage play on the Warrants Exercise is finished. They have what promises to be a very explosive CC on Monday at 1pm. Watch the stock at 1PM and follow the MM RMCC do what he does with the Warrants as well as the common If he buys either buy.

Watch closely IMHO and make market Orders if the stock rolls because it is likely to be an explosive rally if the CC is recieved positively.

For me I would like to see this thread emerge as a trading thread driven by Level II strategies like the above. Rather then a discussion of the various services. I make no judgement about my play only wish others had more of these attempts to use the advantage of Level II to our collective profit.

Another play that I made $9,000 0n Friday was the following BLDPF Ballard.
It has a small float and a sought after technology in Batteries. I put it in my MM smart Key box and loaded it in my Index as well as dynamic Ticker. When this stock rally's it goes up 10-12 points and is explosive. It started to run in the afternoon and flashed rapidly on all screens. I bought on Smart Limit Buy which was a mistake and should have done market executions. Nonetheless, I got 1500 shares at 112 and sold out in 10 minutes at 118. The stock ran to 125. I got out because the risk of $168,000 dollars on this stock was not more then I wanted to bear for longer then 10 minutes. Nonetheless, without Level II this could have never happened. I also had ridden this train a week earlier for $4,000 and watched it drop down after I sold just as Rapidly.

I saw on Nightly a Daytrader at a shop who stated that he had made $1,000,000 in one year. I believe that this is true and relatively easy to achieve with the proper training and mix of Day Trade, Intermediate Holds and Lonterm plays.

DrRisk I share to encourage fuller participation of other Level II traders. Good Luck all and get Level II
