What is the effect on 25% sales to japan for lsi? The oregon fab - when will it open? How long before the capacity is built up to breakeven?

Jock, before everyone gets too excited, your story said: "Through the partnership, Cisco, IBM, and SITA said they plan to help the airlines upgrade their network services. Cisco and SITA will offer airline-specific routers -- mostly from the 2500 series -- that can tunnel ALC and P1024B/C across IP networks. The routers will eventually replace legacy cluster controllers and front-end processors that handle the proprietary traffic today, said Paul Sikorski, product line manager at Cisco, in San Jose, Calif." To the best of my knowledge LSI is only making 7 chips in each 12000 series router for Cisco (wish shane was here to confirm). If you have reason to believe that LSI chips are on the 2500 series router from Cisco or that LSI services are included in some other way on this contract, please share. o~~~ O
