I read that article too and had the same thoughts. Voice recognition is the next holy grail and is what will lead the techs out of the wilderness. The processing power needed will once again require INTC to come up with faster and faster chips and people will buy them. More and more drive space will be used, and more and more software will be written. In the last year or two nothing has driven the techs like speech recognition will. That's why I own some FONX, I still consider it something of a longshot but less so all the time. Is there a voice recognition thread on this board? There are certainly other players out there, some of which have already gained tremendously, i.e. lernout and hauspie. Maybe we should consider establishing such a board. Karl
