Well Good Morning Everyone,

I have returned for another quick post into the saga of "As NVID Churns, (our stomachs)". Having read all of the notes for the last few weeks, I have to say that everyone has made some very fine points. A lot of truths have been told that were not generally known before, as well as a lot of questions that have arisen with this new knowledge. It was posted some time ago that "this was not over yet". That says to me that there is still a lot of information that is being kept under wraps for future use. One recurring theme that does bothers me is, everyone still saying that Bunte is guilty. Believe me, saying this leaves a bad taste in my mouth, But he was found "Not Guilty" by a jury, that is fact and nothing can change it. We all got burned on this deal, but I now worry that someone might just cross the line and get burned twice by Bunte or someone else, filing a law suit over what has been written here. I "KNOW", that a lot of people, both the good guy's and the bad guy's, watch this thread and follow what is being written and talked about.
Naomi, has brought up a very good question that did come to my mind as well. Before I state it, I will begin by saying that I appreciate all that Derek Allen brought to light, I think that he saved a lot of people from losing there money. I wish that I was one of them :-( but I was not. The question that now looms very high in my mind, is why does he continue? Derek, if you would please answer this question directly. It has already been stated that no further criminal charges will be sought against any of the other parties, (thanks to Bunte's defense), so where exactly are you hoping that this will all lead to?
The second largest thought that I keep in mind is for those that watch this thread. The criminal part of all this is now a dead issue. When the civil suit comes up, rather than trying to prove that Bunte got a free ride because (Bunte, I didn't know, the jury found me not guilty, I am an honest man). How about putting the focus on what he did say, "I am an honest man who was used". Ask the questions, that if he is such an honest man, how can he possibly justify keeping all that he bought with ill gotten gains. He no longer has the luxury of the "I didn't know" defense, because when they slapped on the handcuffs, "HE KNEW". Why not, "as an honest man", give back the items that were stolen from the hard working investors?
Anyway, I have rattled on enough for now. Just a special HI, to Cindy, Ken, Naomi, and Norma.
