WIN Announces Internet Phone Calls Between New York, Hong Kong, Instanbul, Moscow And Singapore
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., April 3 /PRNewswire/ -- World Interactive Network (WIN) is proud to announce introduction of Voice over IP Service between New York City and Hong Kong, Istanbul, Moscow and Singapore.

WIN is a pioneer in deployment of Internet Protocol (IP) Telecommunications offering international transport of voice over the public Internet and private intranets. WIN is a carrier's carrier offering service to these locations through its switch at 60 Hudson Street in NYC on a wholesale basis.

''We started this business about 18 months ago evaluating technology. Six months ago we announced service to Hong Kong. Now WIN has connectivity to 27 countries worldwide. We are in the process of wrapping up those contracts and deploying the network to them,'' said Dean Ledbetter, Director of Operations for WIN.

WIN is a company on the cutting edge of telecommunications technology. It is a BETA site for VocalTec Communications and Nuera Communications. ''We have been exploring all offers of IP telephony equipment to the industry for the past one and a half years and believe we have found two of the best. They both have universal voice and fax capability now. VocalTec is a pioneering company developing voice, fax, video, and messaging solutions for corporate and consumer applications over the Internet. Just this week 'Network magazine' gave the VocalTec Gateway its network product of the year award. ( vocaltec.com )

The Nuera quality compares with the telecom industry's best. We are proud to be associated with them,'' explained Ledbetter. ''The industry is headed for explosive growth and we believe WIN and Nuera are positioned to be industry leaders,'' said Andy Voss, V.P. of Marketing for Nuera. Business Communications magazine just did a test of several competitive boxes and Nuera came out on top as Best in Test. ( nuera.com )

The US Telecommunications industry is a $70 Billion a year industry according to the FCC filings of major domestic telecommunications companies. Given the growth of technology and the Internet the future of Internet telephony is certainly bright. Companies offering Internet telephone connections are coming on the scene and growing by leaps and bounds. Most notable among those is RSL Communications, Inc. which just completed its purchase of WIN's largest competitor, another Internet telephony service provider, last fall for a reported $20,000,000.

WIN is constantly searching for more highly qualified global partners. ''We know Internet telephony will be a tremendous market because it is voice over the public Internet. Costs are much lower. Also exposure and prices are much lower,'' Ledbetter added, ''as much as 50% lower.''

Internet telephony is the direction of worldwide communications. The convergence of voice and data networks provides an emerging opportunity. Bandwidth requirements are increasing. At the same time new technologies expand existing fiber optic bandwidth capabilities.

Internet telephony is filled with challenges for conventional communications methods and opportunities for the entrepreneurial spirits and long term thinkers among us.

World Interactive Network, Inc. (WIN) is headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and is an industry leader in the deployment of Internet telephony networks worldwide. ( win-inc.com )

Unlike some I dont plan on selling at the next plateau , when we get there it will be just fine with me to margin my shares and make more money that way, continuing to hold DGIV. Byron thats quite an offer from MR.D. congratulations. And Mr.D. my hats off to you sir. UNTILL AFTER BREAKFAST MARK C.
