Jerry, One can be both a trader and investor. I am a Day-Trader and Investor. If I like a stock I will daytrade it to the point where I have FREE shares in the company via daytrade profits.

It is a difficult discipline; however, very attainable.

Joe PTG&LI !!!

What am I, Trader or Investor?

That answer is usually determined by the answer to this question:

"Am I presently up or down?"

Whenever I hear: "yada, yada, yada,...I'm in for the long term...yada, yada, yada", then I can almost take it to the bank that that person is,far more often than not, currently down.
