Howard, I've placed stop sell orders on NASDAQ stocks with eSchwab.
They were honored.

Fidelity's antiquated system is not equipped to handle stops on NAZ stocks. I transferred my accounts from Fidelity to Schwab two years ago because of this. Scwhab accomodates stops on NAZ stocks for which the market markets accept stop orders. That is, if the mm's for XYZ do not accept stop orders, then Scwab cannot accomodate them.

Brown has both buy and sell stop available on most Nasdaq stocks except the very thin float ones.

Brown charges only 10 on limit order, 5 on market order, vs Schwab's 29.95.
