I agree Herb. There are bigger fish to fry.

I found the following post intriguing.

<<EDS deal will NOT be exclusive to ANCR because they want to
go the multi vendor route... but it also pratically guarantees
that ANCR will get their fair share of a large order. >>

Makes some sense. Anyone familiar with EDS care to comment?

An ocean of opportunity...

Herb, "Aren't these the same sort of ZeroDollar relationships which
Ancor bears would ridicule when Ancor announced them in the
'old days'?"

Maybe. They do, by most part, look like 'real' companies developing
their own products though as opposed to the distributors listed
on Ancor site who mostly seem to be more like a corner hardware store displaying nails and pins right next to MK's.
In fact, they all target a specific market: digital video distribution/post production. Something, that in my view should really
explode soon. An area where it would seem class 1 should be of an advantage. Anybody remember "Independence Day"? We haven't even
heard the name Brocade back when Ancor's switches were used to help
make that movie.

Avid seems to be a recognized leader in that area and a half a billion
dollar company.
