Gerald,

No need to look. prst is an old story and well known by even novice investors.

What is your point? That bldpf is prst and will perform in a like fashion because Lutz picked them both? I dont agree with that logic.

The point is a nationally recognized newsletter, still heavily followed, has picked bldpf as its number 1 stock.

No more no less.

You just cant compare the two companies.
Not to mention everybody can make a bad
call, especially in the high tech sector
I not defending Cabot letter, I'm sure
they had an interest and made their money,
Presstek didnt have a hope in hell of
competeing with Intel as a semi conductor
Mfg. They have 90% of the market and then
theres Cyrix, Amd... etc. The only real
competition for Ballard IMO is UTX and they
clearly do not even come close to monopolizing
the market . They seem to have a good handle
on Stationary fuel cell plants. It is obvious
that Ballard is first focusing on the automotive
market where they are the clear leader in the
field.Everyone incl. UTX is playing catchup to BLD.
To everybody who tries to tie breX ,cabot and
presstek companies to be the demise of Ballard
are fighting the trend. I'm not saying blindly
follow, the technology has been there for a long
time, Its now getting more efficient-cheaper and
the world wants it. The political will is there

Regards

WB

No kidding. I actually sold out of my last investment (ORBI) as soon as it was touted in the Cabbage letter. Although my research showed a bright future, Cabbage has recommended too many complete failures. Unlike Ballard, the risk/reward for ORBI with Cabbage's association didn't seem worth it. Cabbage also recommended DIGL just before they had to restate the past few years earnings. DIGL dropped like a rock on news that wasn't available through standard research.

I'm looking at Ballard as an investment. I won't let the Cabbage letter deter me in this one, but I definitely don't consider it a positive.
